Today’s society is increasingly demanding in terms of quality and expertise in all areas. Moreover, it is a society in multidimensional crisis. The Church must have well-trained leaders in its midst who are able to meet the expectations of this society.
On the other hand, the proliferation of churches led by leaders who are sometimes self-proclaimed and cruelly lacking in training is detrimental to the reach of the Gospel. Only adequate training can remedy this social phenomenon.
Finally, the rapid expansion of the Church can lead to the entrusting of pastoral responsibilities to faithful and seriously committed members. However, a solid subsequent formation will contribute to a greater effectiveness of the so-called leaders.
